Ladies in Waiting Book/Prayer Club: About Us

Our group consist of ladies in various stages in life; single, married, working and retired. We are ladies from various educational backgrounds and culture. Our goal as a book and prayer club is to come together to encourage, support and build each other up. We also encourage, inspire and provide friendship and support for stay-at-home mothers, unwed mothers and homemakers.

As the name implies, The Ladies in Waiting Book/Prayer Club, is a book/prayer club for women who are or have been waiting.... waiting? Waiting for what? Children (believing for conception), husband (believing to be married), waiting for children that strayed from God to return to Him, for family members to have encounter with God. For women believing God for anything that God promised them through is word or through the word of prophecy and are yet to see the manifestation of that word or prophecy.

We meet to discuss a feature book of the month in a laid back and relaxed environment. We also enjoy each other over a light snack. We are located in Michigan.

How Can I Join?

Open to ladies from age 20 and up that love to read.

How does it work?

The Books we read are suggested and voted for at the end of each month.
You can pick up the book at your local library or bookshop, and read along with us.
Participate by leaving comments and insight from the book, or start a discussions.
Share new revelations from the book that will bless and inspire others.
Have fun, meet new friends from across the globe and encourage them.

MEET SOME OF THE LADIES

Hello my name is Laverne and I'm a retiree of three years. Even though I have enjoyed the time off from the workforce, I'm looking to return back to work only into something a little less stressful. I love spending time with the Lord, family & friends, and ministering in song at my church. I love people and love being a support to whom ever is in need. People who know me refer to me a being faithful and one who they can depend on.
