What Would Be Your Response If You Are Asked What Is Your Value?

Here is something to think about and also to help you determine what your true value is. Enjoy!

Our identity in Christ plays an important aspect in determining our value. What gives value is not how much you have, where you live, the job you hold or your looks. Who and what determines your value is God. God gives value, gifts, potentials, talents etc. As Christians where we locate ourselves is one of the things that makes the difference. Our position and movement are equally important with regards to our value. Knowing who you are in Christ will help to determine and maintain your value in life. When you are confident in your identity in Christ, what others may think and say about you will not matter. Why? Because the one who created you placed the highest value on you by paying the highest price for you through the death of His only Son.

Here are some few things to keep in mind when life's challenges seems overwhelming.

We do not determine what we receive originally in life: God determines, however He has revealed to us through His word the things He Has for us and He wants us to have all of them. He wants us to let our lights shine so that the unbelievers can see the glory of God in us and be attracted to Him.
We do not all start at the same level: When we realize that God is in control and that He is a just God, where we start will not be a barrier to the value God has placed in us. Your life presents a series of choices. We can choose the best; in choosing the best we must make choices in God’s direction and in line with His word. When we do this we will always be on the winning side.
Joshua 1:8 (Amplified Bible) says "This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success"
When we do otherwise, our only option would be to make choices in the wrong direction outside of the will of God.
Our value in life is not determined by what we receive in life: What matters is not where life deposits us but the movement we make after the deposit. The story of Abraham and Lot is a good example. Lot chose the fertile land while Abraham was left with the rocky land. Yet Abraham made the most of it by bringing out the best out of it and by releasing it to God. Dear one, what is the "rocky land" you need to release? I encourage you to do as Abraham did today.
We can trade what we have: Trade your heavy load today. Release the things in your life that are weighing you down. The things that are devaluing you, release the things that are making you lose grounds and the things that are not edifying to the Spirit of God in you. God created us and He gave us value. Everything here on earth is determined by God, including your value and destiny. God wants us to trade the things that are not in line with His will, purpose, destiny and value for our lives.
We can make every place a beginning place: Every place is a good beginning point. Just like Abraham did, we too can? When God gives us a word, we need to get up from where we are, make adjustment in the areas God wants us to so that we can see the word of God come to fruition in our lives.
This action will in turn reinforce our value. The more the word of God comes to manifestation in our lives the more value is added to us. God wants us to be far more valuable than what we are now. See what Proverbs 31:10(Amplified Bible) says "A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman--who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls". (Emphasis added). You will agree with me that in God's eyes you are more valuable than rubies.
